DON"T DO IT DAN!
The following has been received from the
Australian Forest Products Association (AFPA)
regarding the next scheduled united Industry rally.
Forest Industry Supporters Unite
at Victorian Parliament on
11am Tuesday 26 November 2019
In response to the announcement by Daniel Andrews to shut down the Victorian native forestry industry, we will be holding a rally to demonstrate that our industry is united in our opposition to the decision and that this must be a key battleground issue for the next Victorian election.
We need your help to get as many workers and supporters of the industry to attend the rally as possible. We need hundreds of you there to send a strong message to the Victorian Government.
When: Tuesday, 26th November at 10.45am for 11am start
Where: On the steps of the Victorian Parliament
There will be several speakers including Opposition Leader Michael O’Brien, and we expect a number of Victorian politicians to attend in support of our industry and the many communities across the state that depend on it.
Please arrive no later than 10.45am
and come and see us to receive your “Don’t Do It Dan” cap and bumper sticker.
If you wear high-vis on the job, wear it proudly.
Please note we will not have trucks at this event and will not be shutting down any public roads. We also ask all attendees to be respectful in their language and conduct.
Industry are encouraged to attend and to sign and share the petition at dontdoitdan.com.au
The Australian Forest Products Association is leading the coordination of this event with the support of VAFI, AFCA and many other industry leaders.
