Marie is an experienced Legal and HR Services practitioner who has worked in both private legal practice and other employer associations prior to joining MGA in 2006. Marie is a solicitor of the Supreme Courts of SA, NSW and Victoria.
In the MGA Legal and HR Services team, Marie has responsibility for overseeing the provision of advice to members on a range of issues, including award interpretation, dispute resolution, anti-discrimination law, WHS and termination of employment issues. Marie has extensive experience in assisting employers with drafting policies, agreements and contracts of employment. Marie has also regularly represented employers in litigation matters such as unfair dismissals, unlawful terminations and discrimination matters.
Marie regularly presents both seminars and training sessions to employees and employers on managing employees, the Fair Work Act, award modernisation and health and safety laws.
David Mostokly – Legal and HR Services Lawyer
David joined the MGA Legal and HR Services team in May 2018. David is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Prior to joining MGA, David worked in a general practice law firm in Melbourne for approximately five years as a senior paralegal and recently as an admitted lawyer. He practised a variety of areas including migration law and civil litigation.
David has volunteered for a couple of legal organisations such as the Victorian Family Law Pathways and St Kilda Legal Services.
As part of the Legal and HR team at MGA, David assists MGA members with advice on a broad range of employment law and HR matters including award interpretation, anti-discrimination, wage enquiries, dismissals, and management of employees’ performance and conduct issues.
Outside work, David is an avid soccer player and club secretary of his local soccer club in Cranbourne. Additionally, he enjoys international travel and camping in numerous areas of Victoria.
Meena Iskandar – Legal and HR Services Lawyer
Meena joined the MGA Legal and HR Services team in August 2018. Meena is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Meena has had varied experience in a number of areas of law. Prior to joining MGA he worked in media and entertainment law, commercial law, intellectual property and planning law. He also has extensive experience in retail leasing and business transactions.
Meena’s role as part of the Legal and HR team at MGA, involves assisting members with advice on a broad range of employment law and HR matters including award interpretation, anti-discrimination, wage enquiries, dismissals, and management of employees’ performance and conduct issues.
Outside work, Meena enjoys playing a number of instruments including guitar and piano. Additionally, he is an active member of his local church committee in Oakleigh.
Jennifer Casley – Legal and HR Services Lawyer
Jennifer joined the MGA Legal and HR team in May 2019. Jennifer is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Leo Cussen Institute.

Jennifer has had a variety of experiences prior to joining MGA. She was trainee lawyer at a major immigration law firm and has also worked as an insurance paralegal. Most recently, she was working as a legal/HR assistant in the management team of an electrical goods distribution company.
Jennifer’s role as internal legal contact involved working with an external company lawyer on various commercial and intellectual property matters.
One of Jennifer’s major accomplishments has been overseeing the construction of a new warehouse from execution through to completion, and post completion. Throughout her studies at Monash University, Jennifer volunteered regularly at Monash Oakleigh Legal Service and now continues to mentor Monash law students at the clinic.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys exercising her creativity by playing the piano and guitar, as well as singing and songwriting. She also regularly undertakes ballet classes. Jennifer is proficient in Spanish and enjoys international travel. She has recently travelled to Italy, France and Argentina and hopes to continue to see the world and learn about different cultures.
